Question 1

What is the detective hunt?

Accepted Answer

The standard package is a printable indoor detective adventure for children ages 6–9, set up and supervised by an adult. Custom requests can be shaped for other ages, themes, and story ideas.

Question 2

Who is it designed for?

Accepted Answer

Adults are the intended audience: a grown-up reviews and sets up the indoor activity. The standard package is for children ages 6–9; custom requests can fit other ages.

Question 3

How many children can join?

Accepted Answer

The package supports one to three children. The team shares one route, and the adult prepares one certificate for each child.

Question 4

What comes in the standard package?

Accepted Answer

The base package is designed to include a personalized hunt story, detailed clues, two personalized puzzle activities, the complete printable package, and an adult setup and answer guide. Both puzzle activities are included in the base package, not paid add-ons.

Question 5

How is the hunt expected to be personalized?

Accepted Answer

For the standard package, an adult provides each child’s first name or nickname and age from 6 to 9. Custom requests can specify other ages. Do not submit birth dates, photos, addresses, or school names.

Question 6

When can I choose the mission, locations, and puzzles?

Accepted Answer

Before checkout, the adult chooses one of the three approved missions, six of the 12 approved safe locations in clue order, and exactly two of the three included puzzle types. The PDF includes the selected mission, six ordered clue cards, the two puzzle activities, certificates, and the adult setup and answer guide.

Question 7

What does the standard package cost, and what if payment is not confirmed?

Accepted Answer

The Personalized Scavenger Hunt — Ages 6–9 is a one-time $9.99 USD purchase. After successful payment, the complete PDF is generated automatically and a download link is emailed. A failed, canceled, or unconfirmed payment does not fulfill an order. Custom hunt submissions remain separate requests for owner review and are not paid or confirmed orders.
